My first fluorescent paint (UV) mural and one of the first murals I have done! I love doing UV murals, the effect is absolutelly amazing and I would recomand it to everyone. The truth is that it doesn't suits every situation but were posible... I would go for it!
ALIEN mural
I have painted these three murals in one location. It was the first time I have used UV paint for a larger, commisioned mural. The premisses where I have painted these murals was a disco place, back in 2000 - 2001. Inside it was all painted in black oil based paint. With no other source of natural light it was pich black, perfect for a UV mural. There is a very interesting thing happening with the normal light in combination with the UV light when they are used in dark places, with different finnished surfaces to reflect from. I've used basic material like auto fluorescent spray paint and black gloss on top om my hand drawing witch I've done with chalk. The caracters of the mural are very big, 1.5 to 2.5m and the UV effect was amazing.
